OpenBee is a Zigbee™-compatible protocol stack for Short Range, Low Power, Ad-hoc Networks (SLANs) .

OpenBee is target independent, i.e. it will work on most microcontrollers and with most IEEE802.15.4 compliant transceivers.

Code is being developed in the C programing language using an UML based model driven development process.

With the OpenBeeDK it will be possible to develop the OpenBee protocol standard with a well equipped hardware. The OpenBeeDK is also ready to use for several applications and non-OpenBee applications. On the board you will find: Arm Processor, FPGA, Temp-Sensor, 5 Buttons, 4 LEDs, A/D converter, external RAM, JTAG, IOs and much more.
